Handpieces of PicoLO Premium are equipped with LASEROPTEK’s proprietary DOE Fractional Technology which is a generated fractional grid pattern for application in aesthetic laser treatments. This technology provides uniform fluence, ablation/penetration depth, safety, and even distribution of energy.
PicoLO Premium’s Dia FX handpieces are embedded with an innovative addition to maximize physician comfort. The newly developed handpieces feature a “Twist & Treat” function allowing physicians to target multiple depths when treating conditions at the twist of the wrist.
The new DiaFX 1064 (10mm x 10mm) and Dia FX 1064 S (5mm x 5mm) handpieces allow physicians to be more precise in a treatment area at three penetration depths, plan more delicate, customized and focused treatments ranging from the deep dermis, upper dermis and epidermis. Additionally, the Dia FX 532nm handpiece targets the dermis safely and effectively.
Laser Induced Optical Brekadown or LIOB is the process of creating micro-injury zones present as dermal vacuoles to tirgger a healing process which results in skin rejuvenation. A recent acne scat study found intra-dermal LIOBs where dermal remodeling was achieved, confirming the efficacy of Dia FX at 1064nm in treatment of atrophic acne scars.
